Christine Lampard can’t wait to go live on the new series of Celebrity Haunted Mansion.
The show – a follow-on from Celebrity Haunted Hotel – will take Christine and co-host Matt Richardson to one of the UK’s spookiest sites in the hope of documenting the scary goings on.
They’ll be joined by a host of celebs as they attempt to capture and record any ghostly behaviour over five nights of live TV, plus sister show High Spirits.
Speaking at the official launch night for the series, Christine told Mirror Online she was excited to be involved once more.
She said: “This is our second series and it is a bizarre mix of madness really because we’re going into something where you don’t quite know what the outcome is going to be and that’s not normal live television.
“Live television, everything is written down and everyone knows what they’re doing, things might go wrong of course but everyone still has a plan to get back to where they were and this is the complete polar opposite of that.
“I love that because there’s no real script, you’re live on the air and it’s real, whatever you’re saying is just happening and the celebs, all the emotions are real and there are no stunts, it’s all real whether you believe or you don’t believe.”
She added: “The place we’re going to apparently there’s just something weird about it. This particular mansion is apparently really eerie. It’ll just be five nights of complete wildness really, but it’s really exciting.”
Brunette beauty Christine is quietly confident she may encounter something otherworldly, as she believes she’s quite a spiritual person.
The Loose Women panelist recently revealed on the ITV show that she’d had a horrifying dream about the 9/11 terror attacks in America days before they actually happened.
She told us: “I sort of am [a spiritual person]. I can’t say that I’ve ever seen a ghost but I do believe that there are things out there that can’t be explained and there are things out there that we just don’t know enough about, and I mean it wasn’t that long ago that we all thought the world was flat. God knows what can happen in a couple hundred years, we can’t know everything.
“A lot of people truly believe that they have seen things and I’m not going to call them liars, so I’m on standby and I do think there is stuff out there and I do believe in different energies.”
She added: “I think it’s just being in tune with things and maybe being sensitive to things.
“I’m quite thoughtful, and I don’t mean like remembering your birthday thoughtful but sort of being aware of people’s feelings and aware of that energy.
“We worked with this amazing medium last time and she spoke to all the celebs, a lot of it off camera because it was quite personal stuff and there was no way she could have known the things she was telling them, so how can you explain that?”
