The Spice Girls nearly broke the internet when they posted their reunion picture last week.
The fivesome got together for the first time in years and delighted fans when they released a statement confirming their plans to work together on new projects.
And now it seems that the Spice Girls – Victoria Beckham, Mel B, Mel C, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner – could be looking for the next big thing.
The chart-toppers are said to be working on a new TV talent show to find the next generation’s big girl band.
Driven by Simon Fuller – the manager who helped catapult the girls to world domination in the 90s – the new show would see the girls trying to put together an international act.
“Simon has been formulating this girl band idea for over two years. He wants to create an international band,” a source told The Sun.
It’s thought the show’s format would be loosely based on Take That’s Let It Shine.
“One member will be selected from China, another from India and then someone will be from the UK,” the source added.
“The plan is to bring people together and add some diversity to the charts.”
Mirror Online has contacted the Spice Girls’ representatives for comment.
Meanwhile, Victoria Beckham may have just crushed dreams around the world.
The Spice Girl turned fashion designer has said that the girl band ISN’T going on tour.
Rumours of a UK and US tour quickly began circulating, as well as reports that the Spice Girls wouldn’t be paid equally.
But now it seems that hopes of seeing the girls in concert once more may have been completely dashed.
Victoria told Vogue magazine: “I’m not going on tour. The girls aren’t going on tour. It was so great to see the girls. We had such a fun lunch. It was really, really, really lovely.
“I still speak to them all individually, but for us all to get together was really lovely. There’s something so strong in the message of what the Spice Girls stood for.
“What is that in the future? What does that look like? We were just bouncing ideas around. Brainstorming. But this [fashion] is what I do.”
It comes after Victoria was caught shaking her stuff and doing the obligatory finger pointing in a video posted to her Instagram account.
The fashion designer was spotted shimmying her bum from side to side in a pair of slim fit jeans as she practised a routine in front of the mirror.
“Actually maybe this is good,” 43-year-old Posh is heard saying before the clip comes to an end.
The mum-of-four, who is currently in New York for fashion week, joked in the caption: “When coffee gets you jazzy first thing!”
Last week Victoria alongside Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Mel B confirmed that they would be reuniting for the first time since 2012 for ‘exciting new projects.’
The girl group, who rocketed to fame in the 1990s with smash hit singles Wannabe and 2 Become 1 were reportedly due to be payed £10million for the comeback.
However, further reports suggested that a pay gap row could soon be on the way.
News site TMZ claimed that the fab five would receive contrasting payments for taking part in the assumed tour.
“Our sources say the girls won’t get paid equally, and it’s pretty clear Victoria can demand more than the others,” the American site claimed.
They also suggested Victoria would only be taking part because she is “bored” of her current lifestyle and tired of playing second fiddle to husband David.
With equal pay between genders a hot topic of late, some fans might be disappointed to learn the ladies can’t treat themselves equally either.
One online fan hit out at Posh Spice after reports suggested she was holding out on the tour “for money”, tweeting: “Wow .. doesn’t she have enough money already??”
