The dos and don’ts of dating are still a mystery to many – especially in the celebrity sphere.
And Celebs Go Dating gurus Eden Blackman and Lady Nadia Essex even differ in some of the rules of dating, but they are still determined they can find a date for Gemma Collins.
The duo told the Loose Women panelists they were determined to help Gemma, and Lady Nadia even agreed with Gemma’s “diva” moment.
“I’m with Gemma on this one,” the guru said.
“She did apologise twice and he was visibly drunk.
“At least she said ‘bye’ and didn’t just run to the toilet and never come back.”
But Eden was a little harsher with the TOWIE starlet, saying she shouldn’t have turned up half an hour late.
But Lady Nadia believes she knows who the reality start should be dating – a “real life Del Boy.”
She said: “She wants a real life Del Boy with a heart of gold and the best intentions – who is motivated and will just love her.
“She has never been in love, her words, and doesn’t know what it feels like.”
Eden added: “But that’s the point of the show – for her to let herself go, take our advice and go for it.”
The pair also admitted they don’t agree on everything when it comes to the rules – especially whether a girl should weaar heels on the first date.
But the thing they do agree on is that the man should pay on the first date, which led to some backlash online – especially as Stacey Solomon said she felt women should pay to show who’s boss.
The thing both dating know-it-alls could agree on, however, are the basic rules of the Celebrity Dating Agency.
Eden clarified these for the viewers and the panel: “If you follow our basic rules you will progress.
“Give people a chance; open your mind; don’t go into dates with preconceived ideas; be on time; don’t get drunk; and give us something to work with.”
The duo also felt that personal hygiene is key.
