Andrew Brady is reportedly the lowest paid Celebrity Big Brother star – ever.
Apprentice star Andrew, who was evicted in Friday night’s live show, is said to have received a fee of just £10,000 for his stint on the Channel 5 reality TV series.
The fee is even lower than the £12,000 Ex On The Beach’s Stephen Bear received to appear on the show last year.
“Andrew was desperate to do more TV after The Apprentice,” a source told The Sun Online.
“CBB bosses liked him but weren’t going to blow their budget on him.”
On Friday night Andrew became the sixth person to exit the house – and the first in the night’s triple eviction.
Speaking to Emma Willis about his time in the house, Andrew said: “Three weeks out of four that’s good going. It’s been amazing. It’s weird because those three weeks have felt like there months. Time goes so slowly in there.”
When asked if he was shocked by the triple eviction, Andrew admitted they already knew about the supposed shock twist because he overheard Emma.
He said: “No because I heard it when I was playing little table football downstairs, you let the cat out of the bag with that one.”
“No oh my god,” shouted Emma. “So you heard us during the live show? We need to work on sound proofing – come on.”
The Apprentice star admitted he was surprised that “three of the four biggest characters” in the house were all up for eviction, but was no shocked he was out first after hearing the boos.
Andrew said Shane J, who he formed a formidable bond with in the house, had the “biggest heart” of anyone he’s ever met.
Opening up about their relationship, he said: “Shane is an unbelievable person. Someone I wouldn’t meet in my day to day.
“Shane has the biggest heart, I have so much admiration for him, for what he’s gone through and the message he’s giving.”
He then argued with Emma over the ‘inappropriate joke’ he made to Ashley James about fish and genitals.
Defending himself, Andrew said: “With me it’s always been delivery. It’s not what I say it’s how I say it. Going back to Ashley’s comment I didn’t make a joke about female genitalia in the way she thought.”
“I’ll chat the back legs off a donkey, sometimes it can be taken right sometimes it can be taken wrong. Some people have an agenda and want to take offence to some stuff. They’re not the sort of people I would associate with outside.”
He was nominated by Ann Widdecombe this week over wrestling between him and housemate Shane Jenek which she dubbed a “lewd display of behaviour”.
The 26-year-old businessman and former Tory MP clashed after Widdecombe suggested his mother and grandmother would disapprove of their rolling around, after which Brady called her a “c***”.
Apologising, Andrew went on: “That was out of order. I’ll hold my hands up and say it was out of order. To me, anyone can say anything to me personally and it’ll be water off a duck’s back.
“I’m always the first to make a joke about myself. But when you bring loved ones into it.”
Three other housemates are up for eviction – Jenek, otherwise known as drag queen Courtney Act, comic Daniel O’Reilly and Love Island star Jonny Mitchell .
