Amanda Holden has fallen victim to vile trolls on Twitter, who took aim at her figure when she uploaded a snap of her stomach to Instagram.
The Britain’s Got Talent star came under attack when she shared the results of a detoxing ‘cupping’ procedure, which involves using hot glass cups to create suction on the skin.
‘Just experienced this amazing treatment,” she captioned the shot, which showed her lying on her back with seven cups attached to her skin.
And while most fans were intrigued, some instead decided to make cruel comments about her body, accusing the star of being underweight.
“Far too skinny,” commented one, while another troll sniped, “You can actually see your pelvis bones… not healthy.”
However, her real fans came out swinging, with one hitting back, “stop body shaming! She’s lying down!”
Mirror Online has contacted Amanda for comment, and the actress has previously hit out at the body shamers, rushing to the defence of her This Morning co-star Holly Willoughby.
“Holly Willoughby has been relentlessly hounded by the thin-shaming body police,” she told Fabulous magazine.
“It’s wrong to criticise someone for being overweight, so why is it OK to have a pop for being ‘too skinny’?
“Holly is happy and healthy, and that’s all that matters.”
