Louise Redknapp is back on stage following her divorce from Jamie.

The former Eternal star kicked off her brand new tour in Manchester tonight and took to the stage in black trousers and a slightly-sheer polka dot blouse.

Louise, 42, looked happy and confident as she returned to the spotlight, smiling at fans as she clutched the microphone.

The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant could be seen belting out the big notes as she as backed up by her band.

Her adoring fans pulled out their mobile phones to capture footage of the star’s big comeback.

The Naked singer’s 19 year marriage to Jamie Redknapp came to an end with a 25 second ‘quickie divorce’.

And since then, she’s been working hard to relaunch her pop career.

It’s said that Louise had actually filed for divorce last March, just after the Strictly tour ended.

A family court judge granted the pair, who tied the knot in 1998, a divorce after concluding the relationship is “irretrievably” broken.

Paperwork showed that Strictly star Louise had filed for divorce and claimed the marriage had irretrievably broken down because of Jamie’s “unreasonable behaviour”.

Documents reveal Louise submitted for divorce when the Strictly tour wound down.

She previously said taking part in the BBC series turned her from a “Stepford wife” to the person “who I really am.”

A source told The Sun on Sunday : “The marriage was over long before anyone previously believed.”

According to sources close to the couple, Jamie reportedly decided not to contest the divorce because he didn’t want to cause any upset to their two young sons Charley, 13, and Beau, nine.

Judge Mulkis heard that Jamie had behaved in such a way that Louise could not “reasonably be expected” to live with him.

She confirmed she was living apart from her football pundit husband, 44, in October.

She said at the time she loved her ‘amazing’ partner, with whom she has two children, although she had come to feel like ‘a sort of Stepford Wife’ and she was ‘coming back to who I really am.’
