American rapper Kodak Black has been charged with weapon possession and child neglect – according to reports.
The 20-year-old musician (real name Dieuson Octave) is facing a total of charges after being arrested in Florida on Thursday.
He is reported to be facing charges for grand theft of a firearm, two charges of possession of a weapon or ammunition by a felon, possessing over 20 grams of marijuana, two probation violation charges and neglect of a child without great bodily harm.
And the music star even managed to live stream via Instagram the moment police arrived to arrest him.
American news website TMZ reported the charges and claims Kodak was caught by police in Florida.
Footage streamed by the rapper on Instagram Live appeared showed a number of men standing in the room with voices – believed to belong to police officers – asking the star to hand over his phone.
A male voice can be heard stating: “Your phone is part of the search warrant,” with Kodak repeating in disbelief: “My phone is part of the search warrant?”
Voices are raised while one male voice can be heard ordering: “Relax!”
Kodak is reported to be currently serving a one year house arrest sentence and has previously spent time behind bars following incidents involving guns and drugs.
It is believed his latest arrest was caused after footage shared on Instagram showed men appearing to be in the vicinity of drugs and handling a gun while Kodak’s child was in the same room – with the rapper doing “nothing to get the child away from the danger,” according to TMZ.
