In September Strictly Come Dancing returned to our screens.
Here we introduce you to the entire class of 2017. This year sees pop stars, TV presenters and even a man of the cloth putting on their dancing shoes.
But which of these famous faces will win the waltz and claim that coveted glitterball trophy?

Who are the Strictly Come Dancing contestants?
1. Mollie King – 16/1
Partner – AJ Pritchard
Mollie King is one fifth of girl band The Saturdays and has been bringing a touch of glamour to the shows.
She’s got big shoes to fill as her bandmate, Frankie Bridge, appeared on the show in 2014 and finished as runner-up, beaten only be Caroline Flack.
Announcing the news on Radio 1, Mollie said: “I’m so excited!
“I’ve known quite a while but so happy I can now tell people, because I’m so rubbish at keeping secrets!”
2. Davood Ghadami – 7/1
Partner – Nadiya Bychkova
Davood Ghadami is best known for playing Kush Kazemi in EastEnders .
The BBC soap actor has a lot to live up to, considering how well his castmates have done in previous years – including Tameka Empson , Jill Halfpenny, Louisa Lytton, Matt Di Angelo, Scott Maslen and Jake Wood.
3. Gemma Atkinson 6/1
Partner – Aljaz Skorjanec
Former Hollyoaks babe and Emmerdale star Gemma Atkinson has traded the farm for the dancefloor.
The actress , who recently left her role as Carly Hope in the ITV soap, said: “I’m beyond excited and incredibly nervous but I am looking forward to learning a new skill in ballroom and Latin dancing and taking on this new challenge.”
4. Joe McFadden – 9/4
Partner – Katya Jones
Following the announcement, Joe said: “Strictly is one of the biggest, most entertaining shows on TV and being asked to be part of it is a once in a lifetime opportunity that I’m thrilled and terrified about in equal measures!”
5. Debbie McGee – 9/4
Partner – Giovanni Pernice
Debbie McGee is following in the footsteps of late husband Paul Daniels after being part of this year’s Strictly.
Debbie, who is best known for being a magician’s assistant, appeared on TV screens just 18 months after Paul passed away from a brain tumour aged 77.
The magician appeared in the dancing contest in 2010- partnering professional dancer Ola Jordan.
Debbie said: “There are no words to describe how I feel about performing on Strictly Come Dancing. The excitement is overwhelming. I can’t stop smiling. It’s been the hardest secret I have ever had to keep!”
7. Alexandra Burke – 10/3
Partner – Gorka Marquez
X Factor winner Alexandra Burke has jumped ship to Strictly going head to head against the show that shot her to stardom every week.
The chart-topping singer, who first found fame by winning the fifth series of the ITV show in 2008, returned twice as a guest judge and guest mentor.
She may already be at an advantage having already teamed up Craig Revel Horwood for Sister Act The Musical, which he directed and choreographed.
Alexandra said: “I am so excited to be joining this year’s Strictly cast. I love this show and have followed it from the beginning, so being able to be a part of it is just a dream come true for me – I still can’t believe it.
“I am very nervous as I am a singer not a dancer, but I am going to give this my absolute everything and try my best to make everyone proud.”

Who has left Strictly Come Dancing so far?
Holby City’s Chizzy Akudolu, who played heart surgeon Mo Effanga in the hospital drama, was the first celebrity to be booted off the show.
Revealing the news ahead of her appearance, Chizzy said: “When I was 13, I made the finals of a disco dancing competition once but there was this amazing girl who exploded onto the stage with a gorgeous sequined costume, throwing glitter everywhere… I knew it was game over for me.
Reverend Richard Coles is a journalist and Church of England priest who is now vicar of Finedon in Northamptonshire.
He’s also co-presenter of BBC Radio 4’s Saturday Live, was the multi-instrumentalist in 1980s band The Communards – and is the first man of the cloth in Strictly history!
Revd Coles said: “Cometh the hour, cometh the overweight Vicar with arthritis in his knees.”
Partner – Brendan Cole
Good Morning Britain presenter Charlotte Hawkins has brought glamour to this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.
Hawkins announced the news on the show after the identity of the new contestant was teased by co-hosts Kate Garraway and Jeremy Kyle.
She began to read a news bulletin and then threw her hands up in the air and declared she was taking part.
Charlotte said in a statement: “”I’ve always been a big fan of the show. It is a dream come true to be taking part and I’ll be following in the footsteps of my Good Morning Britain colleagues.”
4. Brian Conley
Partner – Amy Dowden
Comedian, actor and television presenter Brian Conley said he was ‘delighted and honoured’ to be joining the hit BBC show.
Brian said: “I’m delighted and honoured to be asked to strut my stuff on this year’s Strictly.
“My family all love the show and can’t wait to see me do my Dad dancing on national television.”
5. Simon Rimmer –
Partner – Karen Clifton
Presenter and TV chef Simon Rimmer swapped his frying pan for dancing shoes this year but unfortunately didn’t make it to the final.
The Merseyside star is best known for his role co-presenting Sunday Brunch alongside Tim Lovejoy.
Simon announced the news live on the Channel 4 show, saying: “I am so excited, terrified and proud to be invited to be part of Strictly 2017. I’ve always been a HUGE fan of the show.”
Partner – Janette Manrara
Former JLS star Aston Merrygold should take to Strictly with ease.
He was known for his brave backflips on stage and in the X Factor boy band’s music videos for five years.
The 29-year-old also worked as a judge on Sky show Got to Dance.
Partner – Anton du Beke
This Morning star Ruth Langsford turned from presenting to dancing this month.
Revealing the news on the show, she said: “I haven’t even had a chance to tell my mates at Loose Women!”
Husband and co-presenter Eamonn Holmes added: “I’m so excited to watch you every week!”
Ruth gushed that she had been dreaming about taking part in the show for “years”.
8. Jonnie Peacock – 28/1
Partner – Oti Mabuse
Peacock, who won gold at London 2012 and Rio 2016 and also secured the T44 100m at the World Para-athletics Championships in London this year.
He said: “The opportunity to be the first contestant with a disability to take part in Strictly’s main show was too good to turn down.”
9. Susan Calman – 50/1
Partner – Kevin Clifton
Scottish comedian Susan Calman was confirmed for the show in an announcement on Jeremy Vine’s Radio 2 show and said it was the best decision she’s made.
Susan, who stands at just 4ft 10in, said she was worried about who she’d be partnered with. She was partnered with Kevin Clifton and the dance duo look at ease on the dancefloor.
“The summer holiday is cancelled – I can’t think of anything I’d rather be doing”, she said.
