Laura Simpson has sensationally hit out after Wayne Rooney is hailed a hero – thanks to his stunning hat-trick against West Ham last night.
The former England skipper has been welcomed back into the public affectionate thanks to his performance, that included a goal from inside his own scarf, months after he was charged for driving under the influence.
Last week pregnant wife Coleen told how she she has ‘put her wedding ring back on’ and given her errant hubby another chance.
But the forgiving of Wayne has enraged ‘party girl’ Laura Simpson, who was caught in the car alongside him, as she claims people are still treating her like the ‘bad guy.’
“Love how I’m the villain and he’s a hero #doublestandards” she fired, in a now deleted tweet.
Mum Laura has been doing her best to cheer herself up by treating herself to a new car.
Laura previously told how she felt she had no choice but to get rid of her infamous black Volkswagen Beetle after it was giving her too much unwanted attention.
“Need a new car cba being sang chants by the world and his wife’s white van men when I’m at traffic lights,” she tweeted last month.
Laura put her humble 10 year old VW on the market for TEN times the market value last month.
The former office worker was shown taking her new wheels for a spin dressed in some eye-catching snakeskin trousers.
The redhead was seen running errands in some towering strappy stilletos and a fedora hat – the day after Wayne’s Everton triumph.
Last week Coleen broke her silence on Wayne’s boozy night and admitted that she thought that could have been in the end of her relationship.
In a lengthy and emotionally charged Facebook post, Coleen said she loves husband Wayne, even though he “doesn’t deserve” to have his good qualities listed for the time being.
But while she said “time was spent apart”, deep down Coleen was prepared to forgive her childhood sweetheart.
