John Leslie has been charged with sexual assault following an alleged incident at an Edinburgh night club.

The TV presenter has reportedly been accused of sticking his hand up a 26-year-old woman’s tutu as she partied at Atik in June.

The woman, who is not from Edinburgh, is believed to have been on a hen party.

Leslie, who hails from the city, is said to have been at a VIP night to mark the re-opening of the venue, which featured in movie T2 Trainspotting.

The allegations have now been handed from police to prosecutors, who will decide what action to take next.
