Before arriving to the court Jeremy posted on his Snapchat account: “If I don’t see yas have a good Christmas (sic).”

After he was jailed for missing litter picking, his solicitor James Morris announced he wanted to appeal the sentence immediately.

He said McConnell had already completed 76 of his 200 hours, and blamed his absences to him going through a “very dark period in his personal life”.

Judge Wendy Lloyd said the request would need to be made in writing – and to another judge.

Jeremy shows off his new hair – but today he was jailed for skipping the country

Back in August the deadbeat dad was slapped wiith 200 hours of community service back after he threw ex Stephanie Davis around “like a rag doll” as she held their baby in her arms in a vicious attack at her Liverpool home.

But in two fingers to the system, the tattooed model openly bailed on his community service to get new teeth and a hair transplant in a budget Turkey resort.

Showing zero respect for the law he even told his Instagram followers this morning before he stood in the dock at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court: “If I don’t see yas, have a great Christmas.”

Judge D J Williams, speaking via video link from Liverpool Magistrates Court, said: “After trial I convicted you of a vicious alcohol-fueled attack on your partner and the mother of your child.

“She received a number of injuries and you also damaged her property. You showed no regard for your little baby, who was caught up in the violence.

“I was anxious to protect other women from your violence in future, so I gave you a suspended sentence with rehabilitation requirements. Your solicitor said it would be unjust to activate that sentence.

“However I find the reality is that your enthusiasm for cooperation has been short lived and there’s nothing to show in the future things will change. You have done some of the work and it seems fair that I give you some discount for that.

“I sentence you to 18 weeks of imprisonment out of the original 20.”

Jeremy McConnell after his hair and beard transplant in Turkey

McConnell’s head remained bowed after hearing he would face jail, and remained silent as he was taken away by two dock officers. He wore a black leather jacket and a grey hoodie, with his cheeks still red from his hair transplant surgery.

He narrowly avoided jail after he denied the attack in August, even shouting at Steph as she gave her evidence.

Mum Steph later told the court Jeremy had “ruined her life.”

Two weeks ago the tattooed thug headed to Turkey to undergo a grim hair transplant with the 29-year-old model coming back home with a new beard and hairline.

After Jeremy was jailed, his solicitor James Morris announced he wanted to appeal the sentence immediately.

Judge Wendy Lloyd said the request would need to be made in writing – and to another judge.

Mr Morris said he would be lodging the appeal “later this afternoon”. He said McConnell had already completed 76 of his 200 hours, and blamed his absences to him going through a “very dark period in his personal life”.

He said: “There were some stories in the media regarding people he’d befriended during his unpaid work and who’d sold their stories in the papers.

“He felt his confidence was being breached and he fell back in his unpaid work and supervision appointments.

Steph welcomed her son Caben-Albi at the start of the year

“But he’s shown a marked improvement most recently.

“Any direction to activate his suspended sentence would undo that work.”

A source told The Sun: “Jeremy has been reckless and stupid to think that the law wouldn’t catch up with him.

“He skipped dates so he could go out partying with his mates in Turkey and now it’s caught up with him.

“He’s had a hair transplant but the price could be a stint behind bars.

“He’s put his hands up though and will face the music on Thursday.

“Jeremy doesn’t seem that bothered about going back into court but that could all change depending on what the judge decides.”

Stephanie and Jeremy met on Big Brother

Following the earlier court case, the former Celebrity Big Brother star relocated to Cardiff to serve his hours and was spotted last month doing his duty, sweeping streets.

He then caused a stir when he was posting from a lad’s trip in Turkey and boasting about having cocaine in his villa .

He posted from Turkey

People were quick to wonder how he got out of serving his community service.

It was only after that we learned the real reason he headed abroad, as we were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the grim aftermath as he flashed images of his bloody scalp and beard following the pin-prickly procedure.

Last week he proudly showing off the finished results of the surgical procedure online, as he informed followers where he got his new ‘do from.
