A mum has become an internet sensation after tricking her husband into drinking her breast milk in his morning brew.
Charlotte Adams posted her video on Netmums’ Facebook page , including her husband Rob’s slightly bemused reaction to his morning cuppa.
Cheeky sales manager Charlotte, 28, asked Rob if his tea tasted any different after secretly switching one of the ingredients.
In the video, Rob was playing in bed with their daughter Ivy. He replied: “It tastes funky.”
The video has been seen more than 100,000 times, and has divided the mum’s community. Some commenters said they were “disgusted” by what they had seen.
But others said “it’s better for him than animal milk” and one even posted said “my partner did this willingly”.
Charlotte and Rob have previously hit the headlines after live blogging the birth of their baby Ivy from the delivery room. They wanted to give their daughter a “true-to-life” account of her birth.
Charlotte said she has faced a battle to get Ivy to take the bottle, but because it takes so long to prepare she hates to throw the milk away.
In the end she admitted that she thought giving the milk to Rob in his tea was a better idea and added that it has given her a good laugh.
Netmum’s editor in chief Annie O’Leary said the idea has crossed the minds of every mum at some point, and said comments on the story haven’t stopped coming in.
